Questions
Which image types are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP. HEIC photos from some iPhones are not supported by most browsers yet; export them as JPG first.
Do my photos come out the right way up?
Yes. Phone photos store their rotation in hidden information, and PDFboat reads it so they are not turned sideways. You can still rotate any image by hand.
Can I combine different image types in one PDF?
Yes. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP can be mixed in the same PDF. Drag them into the order you want.
What page sizes can I choose?
A4, US Letter, or "Fit to image" where each page is exactly as big as its picture.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The PDF is built inside your browser tab, so your images never leave your device.
Can I password-protect the PDF?
Yes. Switch on "Password-protect", choose a password, and the PDF is encrypted with AES-256. It is off by default.
