How to convert JPG and other images to PDF
- Drop your images, or choose them from your device. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP work.
- Drag the images into the order you want, or use the arrows. Use the rotate button if one is sideways. "Sort by name" orders 2-photo before 10-photo.
- Pick a page size and margin, then click Create PDF and download.
Questions
Do my photos come out the right way up?
Yes. Phone photos store their rotation in hidden information, and PDFboat reads it so they are not turned sideways. You can still rotate any image by hand.
What page sizes can I choose?
A4, US Letter, or "Fit to image" where each page is exactly as big as its picture. For A4 and Letter, pages turn landscape automatically for wide pictures, or you can force portrait or landscape.
Will the PDF be big?
By default your JPG and PNG files go in untouched, so the quality is original. Choose "Smaller file" to shrink very large photos, which keeps them sharp for screens and printing at normal sizes.
Which image types are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP. HEIC photos from some iPhones are not supported by most browsers yet; export them as JPG first.
Can I password-protect the PDF?
Yes. Switch on "Password-protect", choose a password, and the PDF is encrypted with AES-256. It is off by default. If you forget the password it cannot be recovered.
